Placing an order

An order on this website is a request to buy, and no payment is taken here. We call you to confirm it: the floors and cartons, your delivery day and the total. The sale is made when you pay on that call, by card or bank transfer. Until then you can change or cancel it at no cost.

Prices

Prices are per square foot and sold by the full carton; the cart counts the cartons for you. A sale price shows its regular price beside it, and its end date when it has one. Sales tax is estimated at checkout from your ZIP and confirmed on the call.

Price promise

If another website that sells to the public shows one of our floors for less (the same floor, color and width, in stock, with the price showing), tell us and we go under it, unless that would take it below what we can sell it for; then we tell you the same business day. Report a lower price.

Delivery

Order by 2 PM on a business day and it can arrive the next business day. Deliveries run on routes, and some areas are on the route every other business day, so the day is one or two business days out; we set it with you on the call. We deliver in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Where a route may not reach, we call first, and nothing is charged if it does not. Free over 500 sq ft or $1,500, otherwise $99. Check before you sign

Count the cartons and look for damage before you sign for them. Note anything wrong on the delivery slip, or tell us as soon as you find it, and we replace it at no cost.

Returns

Sealed, unopened cartons can come back if you tell us within 30 days of delivery, for a restocking fee we tell you on the order call, before you pay. The customer pays for the return trip. If we pick them up, we tell you what the pickup costs before we schedule it. Bringing them to our North Jersey location by appointment costs nothing extra. Opened cartons and floors cut or installed cannot come back for a change of mind. A damaged or faulty carton, or the wrong floor, is replaced at no cost, whenever you find it. More about returns.

Installation

We sell floors; we do not install them. Tick Installation price at checkout and an installer we work with calls you with their price.

Warranty

Each floor carries its maker's warranty.

Who sells it

Legacy Flooring Direct, an independent retailer. Legacy Flooring Collection is a brand of its maker; we sell it and are not the manufacturer. Your receipt names the seller.
